Saturday, February 3, 2024 – Team Relay Freestyle Sprints
- Most heats will have 12 relay teams.
- Each relay team will ski a total of 4 laps. 2 by each skier and alternating each lap.
- Advancement from the Semis to the Finals is outlined above based on finishing position in the Semis.
- There are A & B finals for all divisions.
Sunday, February 4, 2024 – Individual Classic Sprints
Middle School Heat Race Notes
- Top 32 will advance to semi final heats of 8 skiers.
- Qualifing positions 17-32 will be in the consolation bracket. (Semis 1 & 2)
- Qualifing positions 1-16 will be in the championship bracket. (Semis 3&4)
- Skiers 33rd and after will ski one heat based on their qualifing position in heats of 12 skiers.
- Lane selection based on qualifing position.
High School Heat Race Notes
- 8 Skiers per heat
- Lane selection based on qualifing position
- Top 32 Advance to Quarter-Finals and will ski 3 rounds
- Positions 33 and up are divided into single round heats based on qualifing times
